Our engineers, technicians, and assemblers can take your equipment and completely remanufacture it. With change parts, retrofits, and upgrades, such as customized PLC’s, the machinery is customized to your requirements. Engineering Services
Machines are important, but what really separates faster, cleaner lines from the rest, is system design. Retaining our Consultation and Engineering Services department to design or re-design a machine, packaging line or complete facility is the best way to partner with HealthStar. It provides you with our hands-on machine know-how and our extensive manufacturing and packaging experience.

Your project will receive detailed analysis, planning and implementation assistance. HealthStar will offer time and cost-saving approaches to accommodate multiple package sizes and shapes, equipment and parts recommendations that are best for your specific application, assistance with making budget decisions and project cost projections, and upgrades to existing equipment to decrease cost and increase productivity through machinery reconditioning or complete rebuilding.

Custom Design & Engineered Equipment
Our excellent reputation in rebuilding and integrating equipment, coupled with retaining some of the most qualified individuals in the packaging and processing fields, makes HealthStar ideally suited to tailor machinery and lines to your specific applications. We can conduct test trials in our lab to simulate production environments. For filling machinery, this allows us to design filling valves to achieve optimum performance on a rebuilt or new machine. For powder and tableting machinery, we can test placebo samples, which simulate your product or will suggest certain tableting equipment based on years of experience in tableting both direct compressible material and granulated material. We will always recommend the type of tooling, precompression, and tonnage that we feel will simplify your compression.

Equipment Appraisals
Through close market contacts and a highly knowledgeable purchasing and sales force, we can provide accurate, well-documented machinery and equipment valuations.

Liquidations
Liquidations can be handled in a number of ways. HealthStar has done piece-by-piece or full plant liquidations. HealthStar will work on a guaranteed purchase, commission or liquidation basis, to customize the deal that makes the most sense for all parties involved. HealthStar handles choosing the most qualified auctioneer or the best method possible to manage the liquidation including all arrangements that need to be made.

Outright Purchase
When working on the basis of an outright purchase of assets, HealthStar will place a value on the equipment, make the offer to purchase and inventory the machinery. Staff disruptions are kept to a minimum. HealthStar has the capability to purchase single machines to entire plants.

Consignment or Sales Representative
HealthStar can take possession of assets or sell them right from your facility based on terms agreed upon between HealthStar and your company.

HealthStar’s broad market reach, and our database of 23,000 potential buyers, makes it possible for the company to sell equipment quickly. All assets available for sale are listed both in-house on HealthStar’s web site. Each new listing is immediately sent to agents and representatives located internationally in addition to HealthStar’s corporate sales force. We target marketing campaigns to reach the buyers for your specific equipment.

Formulations
The senior management of HealthStar has tremendous experience directly with formulation and packaging of nutritional liquids and solids, pharmaceutical parenterals, liquids, powders and solids along with liquid and paste products in the cosmetic and personal care arena.  We also conduct test trials in our lab to simulate your production environment.

HealthStar will use this experience in recommending solutions to your formulation or packaging challenges.
